"It's high time to get up" sings Inga Rumpf in her Frumpy song "Get Together" and hits the nerve of the times. Curious: Inga's lyrics date from 1991, the song in turn from the album "Frumpy - News", when the rock group around Inga and Jean Jaques Kravetz celebrated a kind of reunion. Now "Get Together" is the opener and title of the current live repertoire. As the singer of the City Preachers, with whom she began her career as a folk preacher, as a brilliant interpreter of jazz, blues, R&B and soul, but above all as a rock singer with Frumpy and Atlantis, the bands that wrote German rock history in the 1970s. She went on tour with Aerosmith, Udo Lindenberg and Lionel Ritchie, composed for Tina Turner, jammed with Keith Richards and Ron Wood. Blues grandmaster B.B. King brought Inga and her band Friends on stage as a "special act" for an acclaimed tour of Germany.

Inga's black timbre is as unique as her musical genius. The universe of R & B, soul, gospel, jazz and rock would be unthinkable without her. With her songs and her charisma, she creates that wonderful magic that touches the audience's deepest soul like no other.
