For almost twenty years, they fight for each other's love and friendship in their letters, and there is repeated silence. But the correspondence is always resumed - until it finally breaks down in 1961: the correspondence between Ingeborg Bachmann and Paul Celan is the moving testimony of two people who loved and hurt each other, who needed each other and yet could not live together. At the finissage of the exhibition "Ingeborg Bachmann: It's not me. It's me." we will listen to selected letters from the volume "Herzzeit" (Suhrkamp), commented on by the Bachmann experts Irene Fußl-Pidner (Salzburg) and Helmut Böttiger (Berlin).
