Inklusiver Weihnachtsmarkt im Deutschen Taubblindenwerk

With a varied program, guests can once again gain exciting insights into the different areas of people's lives this year. Topics include career preparation and work, education, but also the various forms of communication. All guests can take part in a performance by the sign language choir and learn their first words in German sign language.

A visit to the largest facility for people with sensory disabilities is worthwhile for the whole family. While the younger guests take a spin on the carousel, older children can do arts and crafts or listen to the stories in the fairytale tent. Santa Claus has also announced his visit and the molehill presents many creative Christmas ideas for family, friends and acquaintances.

Another highlight is the wish tree in the outdoor area, which the children, young people and adults at the Deutsches Taubblindenwerk have decorated with their personal wishes. Visitors are invited to read the cards, talk to residents and employees and gain an insight into the lives of people with deafblindness and hearing impairments. Of course, they can also help to fulfill the wishes of their hearts.
