Muddy What?

Muddy... who? They have a female lead guitarist, are among the most hard-working live musicians in Germany and enchant audiences on stage with their irrepressible energy: the Munich trio led by siblings Ina and Fabian Spang now travel all over the world with their New Blues. They bring with them their charming and captivatingly unique blend of modern and traditional blues music, including original compositions and original arrangements. It is no coincidence that the young musicians enjoy great recognition in the international live music scene, have already won several cultural awards and were winners of the 2021 German Blues Challenge. Lead guitarist and mandolin player Ina inspires with her soulful and sometimes breathtakingly fast-paced solos, while Fabian's unmistakably pleading vocals have also long since become the band's trademark. Jessie Lee & The Alchemists

Analog produced blues from France: powerful rhythms, subtle grooves! Jessie Lee and the Alchemists from Paris: hope of the European blues scene back with new album "Let It Shine" The highly acclaimed French quartet Jessie Lee and the Alchemists prove with their second album "Let It Shine" that they can continue the critically acclaimed high quality of their self-titled debut from 2018. The album will be released on May 7 on Dixie Frog Records (CD and digital). Initially, the charismatic singer and guitarist Jessie Lee and guitarist Alexis "Mr. Al" Didier performed as a duo on the Parisian blues scene. In 2015, Laurent Cokelaere's driving bass, Stéphane Minana's tight groove on drums and Laurian Daire's masterful organ completed the group to form a quartet. Described by the music press as the "hope for the European blues scene", the band began to present their sound on as many stages as possible. This is how they became popular, especially in France. With their second album, the Parisians are now aiming for a Europe-wide breakthrough. In the same year, the band was awarded 5 prizes at the International Mississippi Blues Trail Challenge. Further recognition followed in 2019 when they won the Challenge France Blues and received an invitation to represent France at the European Blues Challenge 2021. With a lot of seriousness and self-confidence in their luggage and under the supervision of producer Hugo Bracchi, the band soon recorded their second album "Let It Shine" in February 2020. In order to remain true to the band's stylistic history, this album was recorded and mixed completely analog. This honors the classic blues of the 50s. Jessie Lee's impressive vocal talent is immediately apparent on "Let It Shine", and she makes an excellent guitarist in both the rhythmic and solo parts. Paired with the virtuosity and lyricism of Alexis "Mr. AL" Didier - who is also the composer and director of the album - they hit the mark with their concept. Just let yourself be moved and convinced by the incredible energy of the rhythm section and the subtle but catchy groove of Laurian Daire on the keys.
