Mojo Bluesband
The Mojo Bluesband, founded in 1977 by Erik Trauner, is an Austrian blues band that delights fans worldwide with its rousing sound and many years of stage experience. With their traditional Chicago blues, swinging R&B and rolling boogies, they have made a name for themselves and can boast numerous collaborations with international stars of the blues scene. Despite their great successes, such as the hit "Rosa Lee" from 1988, the band remains creative and full of energy, even after the complete reformation in 2002. Their concerts are characterized by spontaneity, closeness to the audience and a dynamic mixture of music and humour. For the Mojo Bluesband, the respectful treatment of blues icons such as Muddy Waters or T-Bone Walker is paramount, but they are always looking for their own musical path. For them, the blues is not just a form of music, but the expression of an attitude to life that they bring to the stage authentically and with passion.
