A short montage of 20 mainstream films in which all roles are dubbed into German by the same voice actress (Regina Lemnitz). The characters, played by Black actors, thematize the act of speaking or the voice itself in each sequence: "I have to talk to you. You'd be surprised what we're all talking about" or: "I'd like to finish telling my story, if that's okay with you!" Stereotyping, which is already present on the image level, is intensified by the dubbing process. The casting policy of the dubbing industry in Germany exposes its racisms when "being black and female" is organized as a category that can be covered by a single (white) voice.
