Interaktives Workshop-Format: "Warum die queere Community keine Community ist, aber eine werden könnte."

In the organizer's words:

There are homosexual men who have suffered under Section 175 of the German Criminal Code and homosexual men who no longer have this paragraph in the Criminal Code at all. There are lesbians who miss the women's movement and non-binary people who discuss all variations of gender identity and different forms of love relationships.

Wouldn't it be nice to learn more about the needs and issues of the individual groups within the queer community in order to be strong together?

In an interactive workshop format, we would like to provide content-related impulses on the history of the gay and lesbian movement and at the same time delve into current perspectives and topics of the subgroups of the queer spectrum.

We would like to discuss with the participants "why the queer community is not a community". We would like to work out solutions together and consider how it could become one.

The event is part of the Cologne Lesbian Visibility Weeks 2025. The Cologne Lesbian Visibility Weeks take place in cooperation with our Office for Integration and Diversity.
