Internationalen Kindertag am Adlerturm

The Adlerturm Children's Museum is celebrating International Children's Day on Sunday, 01.06.25 with a colorful program:

From 11 a.m. to 12 noon, children's book author Susanne Viegener will read various stories from her "Dortmunder Märchenbuch", which was published last fall. The author will accompany the fairy tales she reads with a picture presentation that shows us the locations of the stories. Ms. Viegener will also be happy to dedicate and sign copies of the fairy tale book, which is available in the museum store. Recommended ages: pre-school and primary school children.

From 12 noon, many play stations will be set up on Günter-Samtlebe-Platz, inviting visitors to try out and join in. If our visitors prove their skills at the stations, in the sack race, archery, egg race, medieval quiz, crossbow shooting, wrestling, ball throwing, jumping and the touch boxes, they can earn a certificate! Our interactive storyteller Charlotte von Ascheberg will also be out and about on the grounds, entertaining our visitors together with Rüdiger the tower dragon.

The entire program, including the author's reading, is free for young and old!
