48th International Museum Day on May 18, 2025
The LEZ is celebrating the 48th International Museum Day on Sunday, May 18, 2025, under the motto "Discover museums with joy". Anyone interested is invited to get to know Ludwig Erhard, discover contemporary history and experience the social market economy. The museum is open from 10 am to 6 pm and admission is free.
Short guided tours of the permanent exhibition are offered at 11 am, 12 noon and 4 pm, and at 3 pm the LEZ team will guide visitors through the current special exhibition on Henry Kissinger.
The LEZ learning supermarket "Ludwig's Little World" opens its doors from 2 to 6 pm for an afternoon of play for the whole family. Equipped with shopping lists and play money, young and old can play shopping together to their heart's content. Admission is at 2, 3, 4 and 5 p.m. with fun for an hour each time. Tickets are available at the ticket office from 30 minutes before the start of the next game round (no prior reservation possible). This offer is also free of charge on International Museum Day.
International Museum Day is organized annually by the International Council of Museums (ICOM) and is taking place for the 48th time this year. The aim is to draw attention to museums in Germany and around the world and to invite visitors to discover the diversity of museums.
