The Pink Floyd Experience - Concert at the HALLE

In 1965, a band was formed in London that still exudes a quasi-religious fascination for quite a few people today: Pink Floyd. In 1997, Interstellar Overdrive was formed in Wiesbaden, a band dedicated to the sacred purpose of not only playing the songs of the legendary psych/prog rockers, but also devising a wonderfully psychedelic light show. The concerts of the "Pink Floyd authenticators" (Rhein Zeitung) are particularly interesting, not least because they only play songs from early (Syd Barrett!) to middle Pink Floyd - psychedelic classics from albums such as "The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn" to "The Dark Side Of The Moon". After all, it's not for nothing that they named themselves after a track from the former. And yes, you guessed it: a concert by the band rarely lasts less than three hours! Compared to many other shows these days, that's a lot of value for little money. Which brings us back to a Pink Floyd song, which I hope IO will also play! A mimesis of a special kind!
