For our 2nd ÍNTIMO we are celebrating International Woman's Day with an all female line-up inviting two amazing selectors, ChewChew and Meriem S, along side our resident Eclectic Elektra. Born in Belarus and currently living in Berlin, ChewChew mixes music rich in house, disco and rhythmic balearic. The scene of her hometown Hamburg inspired her and she began to organize events with friends in Aachen — gaining crucial experience as a promoter and record shop seller. ChewChew‘s sets are dynamic, engaging, and emotionally resonant, capturing the essence of her musical journey. In Berlin, she is recognized, curating the semi-regular party series ‚All You Can Feel,‘ which showcases DJs she admires and the music she loves. Her passion doesn‘t stop at the decks but goes further to Resør (a rotary mixer brand) showcasing not only her commitment to artistry but also technically sound facets. Whether behind the decks or in the studio, ChewChew’s signature style—marked by depth, emotion, and an unerring sense of rhythm. Meriem (She/Her), born in Tunisia, grew up in Italy and now calls Berlin home. She hosts Roots and Beats at Refuge Worldwide. While she’s pretty new to the DJ scene, her sound is a one-of-a-kind blend of the cultures she’s lived through—mixing Italo disco, Arab vibes, North African Music, and punchy, dance beats. Her sets have this melodic, nostalgic feel that just hits right. ÍNTIMO is an event series hosted by Eclectic Elektra & Jelle from the Block two DJs/producers with a shared passion for eclectic music from around the world, such as Brazilian, Latin, Zouk, Balearic, Disco & House music. In this event series they bring together deep digger DJs who create an intimate, soulful atmosphere. Set against the backdrop of Berlin’s vibrant nightlife, ÍNTIMO offers a refreshing escape from the usual techno scene, with global rhythms and melodies that invite you to be challenged, inspired and moved.
