With works by: Sofia Brandes, Stefan Grey, Victoria Jung, Fabian Ritter, Nikita Teryoshin and Lukas Zander
From May 2 to August 31, 2024, the exhibition shows six positions of contemporary photography that deal with the most diverse facets of soccer in a variety of ways.
The spectrum ranges from portraits to photo series on no less important side scenes beyond the pitch - where joy, euphoria, sadness and the bizarre can be discovered - to depictions of the community-bonding element that can make up soccer.
The social significance and the special place of soccer in the everyday lives of many people are highlighted.
All of the exhibiting photographers studied at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
