Isabelle Lehn beim Literarischen Sommer mit ihrem Roman "Die Spielerin"

In the organizer's words:

At the center of this economic thriller is the young investment banker A., who gets to know the world of bad banks in Zurich in the 1990s, where neither borders nor laws seem to apply. After working her way up in the financial world from a village in Lower Saxony to Shanghai and learning many not entirely legal tricks to sell risky investments to clients, she uses her freedom as a woman in patriarchal structures to invest millions outside of the law. She remains silent in court - her story is told by others.
Isabelle Lehn studied general rhetoric, ethnology and educational science with a focus on propaganda research, mass communication and media effects. She also studied at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig, where she now works as a lecturer.
