Tom is a tennis coach at an all-inclusive hotel on Fuerteventura and passes the time between lessons with alcohol and one-night stands. The arrival of the Maguire family shakes him out of his daily rut. Tom can't shake off the feeling that he has met Anne before. He befriends Anne and her husband Dave, gives their son Anton tennis lessons and invites them on a trip to show them the rugged beauty of the island. The next day, Dave disappears without a trace...
