An animated documentary by Uli Decker in cooperation with Stuttgart PRIDE, in the presence of the director.

Little Uli wants to be a pirate or a pope, but under no circumstances does she want to fit into the stereotypical roles of her Bavarian hometown. After the death of her father, her mother gives her his "secret box". The contents suddenly change her view of her father, herself, her family and the society in which she grew up. A rollercoaster ride through animated and documentary imagery.

In her cinema debut, director Uli Decker gets to the bottom of a family secret. She opens up diaries and herself for a dialog with her father, who died in an accident years ago and with whom she kept a strange distance during his lifetime. A touching father-daughter story about freedom, the search for identity and gender issues in our society.
