Documentary music theater | co-production Katharsis Kollektiv & FWT

Queer life in Germany and Turkey has many facets, but what is actually known about it? For the documentary song recital "İtirazım var | Ich widerspreche", people from both countries and different areas of society were interviewed, including politics, education, business, activism and art. What do they know about each other, what similarities and differences are there in their everyday lives? And what are they fighting for? The Katharsis Kollektiv combines their moving stories with the sounds of celebrated stars such as Zeki Müren, Bülent Ersoy and Gaye Su Akyol, who regularly break conventions with their public appearances.

Following the success of "Gastfrau - Zwischen Heim und Weh", the Katharsis Kollektiv is now presenting its second play development, "İtirazım var | Ich widerspreche".
