Jägerschlacht - Open Mic Slam

In the organizer's words:

There are many forms of stories: soulful ballads, biting glosses, stand-up sets and syllable-paced rap thunderstorms, spit poetry and mumbled punchlines, Dadaist vocal poems and diary entries chiseled directly from the heart onto paper. All these text forms exist, each different and all valuable. So get them up on stage!

The best place for live text checks is the Open Mic Slam at Haus 73, where slam poets take their first steps and meet experienced slammers who test their latest thoughts in their performances. Whether you've been doing it for years and are at the slam instead of studying for exams or are retiring for the first time - everyone is welcome here, any text form is allowed, as long as the golden slam rules are adhered to:
Self-written texts, no props, 5 minutes time. And the audience jury decides who wins the slam.

Outside of the competition, there is always a featured poet as a star guest.

Slam as it used to be - rough and raw, tested and loud, quiet and live. And maybe you'll be the first to see the stars of tomorrow here!
