Exhibition Master's program inspired and interpreted by Greek hybrid creatures from the Glyptothek Munich in the Akademietheater

The students of the Mask Design - Theater and Film course at the Bayerische Theaterakademie August Everding have spent months creating fascinating hyperrealistic works, which can now be seen in the annual exhibition Mask Design - Theater and Film at the Akademietheater: from Thursday, 26.06. to Sunday, 29.06., between 18:00 and 21:00 (opening on 26.06. at 18:00). Free admission! The intensity with which bodies are explored here and produced in elaborate modeling processes using silicone casts, acrylic plaster, resins and several hundred kilos of clay will leave no one unimpressed.
The Master's degree course in Mask Design - Theater and Film (Director: Prof. Verena Effenberg) is unique in this form worldwide! Not only are the graduates engaged on the major international theater stages, they also work as award-winning make-up artists in the most important film and television productions.
