James Gray (CAN) live bei Tee de Cologne

In the organizer's words:

James Gray is a modern traveling folk singer who has toured Canada, Europe and Australia over the past decade. With fingerstyle guitar, a hauntingly beautiful voice and a humorous stage style, he dives into his songs with palpable passion.

He has released three albums, most recently New Friends That Talk Like Old Friends in 2023. In 2019, he won the Mariposa Folk Festival showcase auditions and has since been invited to perform at several prestigious festivals in his native Ontario.

Gray recently returned from a tour of Switzerland, Germany and Austria. In 2024 he performed again at the Northern Lights Festival Boreal and Mariposa Folk Festival - there even on the main stage in front of Bruce Cockburn.
