It's almost impossible to get involved with British RnB without stumbling across the name James Vickery. The South Londoner has been considered a high-flyer ever since his COLORS session for the track "Until Morning" in 2019, which currently has 39 million streams, and has proven time and again since then that he wasn't given this title for nothing. The Londoner already collaborated with RnB legend Musiq Soulchild and hip-hop duo EarthGang on his debut album "Songs That Make Me Feel" from 2021. After further EP and single releases, the second album "JAMES." is now in the starting blocks, on which the singer breaks free from the strict RnB corset and opens up his sound to elements of funk, hip-hop and pop. The album will be released on September 12th and will celebrate its live debut on the following tour in November.

How James Vickery came to sing is a story of "good luck in misfortune". After a growth in his ear was removed, leaving the Brit deaf on one side, James had to relearn to speak with the help of a singing teacher - who quickly discovered his amazing singing skills. Naturally, he then began to put his experiences and emotions into profound RnB songs that quickly won people over with his powerful yet sensitive voice. In 2021, James released an acclaimed debut album as well as the documentary "Louder", in which the Brit tells his emotional life story. The second album "JAMES." will follow in September of this year, with James Vickery going on tour just a few months later, which will also take him to Cologne and Berlin in November.
