In January and February 2025, Jan Blomqvist will be playing live in Berlin, Stuttgart, Zurich, Munich, Cologne and Hamburg as part of his Mute Tour 2025!

Berlin-based artist Jan Blomqvist is much more than just a DJ: as a virtuoso musician, singer and producer, he brings his unmistakable blend of electronic compositions live to the stage. From the beginnings of his musical career in the grunge scene, where he played guitar and drums, to his move into Berlin's electronic music landscape, Jan has developed into a master who creates orchestral soundscapes with his fingertips.

At a time when live acts were often overshadowed by DJs, Jan Blomqvist has been instrumental in bringing live performance, real instruments and complex harmonies back to the world of techno and electronic music. His impact has been felt worldwide: he has performed on stage at the Coachella Festival three times, is a fixture at Burning Man and captivates a large fan base at up to 100 concerts a year.

With almost 1,000 concerts under his belt, Jan Blomqvist's tour calendar shows that he is an integral part of the electronic music scene. When he's not on tour, he spends his time in the studio. Collaborations with artists such as Ben Böhmer and Oliver Koletzki are testament to his influence, and he also proves his versatility as a remixer for the likes of Claptone and Seal.

While he had long dreamed of releasing his own music, Jan finally founded the "Disconnected" label in 2024. The name of the label is derived from Jan's latest album "Disconnected", in which he takes an in-depth look at the phenomenon of increasing alienation.

With this new step and a return to stage presence with a live band constellation in the fall of 2024, history seems to be repeating itself for Jan Blomqvist: After three years of solo touring, he decided to take to the stage once again with his longtime friends Christian Dammann (drums) and Felix Lehmann (keyboards).
