Jan Plewka singt Rio Reiser 2 - "Wann, wenn nicht jetzt?"

After his successful first Rio Reiser evening at the Monheim Kulturwerke in January 2024, Jan Plewka returns to the Aula am Berliner Ring with his "Schwarz-Roten-Heilsarmee" band to sing and celebrate the unforgettable songs of Rio Reiser. With "Wann, wenn nicht jetzt?" (When, if not now?), there is now a second evening that includes songs from the time of Reiser's solo career, but focuses on the songs from the "Ton Steine Scherben" years.

With a deep bow to the band's musical and political stance, Plewka's show brings the sound of the legend of the left-wing zeitgeist into the present with his usual charm and original band line-up. The songs have become darker and harder. The will to change back then is charged with anger at today's conditions and made palpable. The cheerful hits and tender love songs have given way to political and combative songs such as "Jenseits von Eden", "Warum geht es mir so dreckig?" and "Macht kaputt, was Euch kaputt macht". Jan Plewka, the frontman of Selig, is singer, musician and actor all in one on this evening. He is very close to his idol and yet always remains himself.
