The quartet's music combines melodic passages and experimental sounds to create an exciting straightforwardness, a precise interplay that has been developed over many years. Trumann, who was awarded the German Jazz Prize as Brass Player of the Year in 2024, and his fellow musicians create clear, expressive musical narratives in which both compositional structures and improvisational freedom find their place. Supported by the use of effects and synthesizers, a fascinating soundscape unfolds.
