The legendary figure of Medea has been one of the most famous stories in world literature since antiquity and is inextricably linked with Iason and the Argonauts.
Medea, who knows magic, helps Iason, with whom Medea has fallen in love, and the Argonauts, whom she finds cute, to steal the Golden Fleece from Colchis. Whoever possesses the Golden Fleece has unlimited resources at their disposal. And Iolkos, Iason's homeland, is in dire need of it, as the country is on the verge of bankruptcy thanks to its despotic king Don Pelias.
But wait! What if the character of Medea is removed from the Argonaut saga, for example because the only female actress in the theater collective B14 overslept and didn't show up for rehearsal?
not show up for the rehearsal? Tell the Argonaut saga and the search for the Golden Fleece without the character of Medea? Is that even possible? But it sure is!

"JASON AND THE ASTRONAUTS" rewrites the ancient tradition of Homer and other texts about the Argonaut saga, but always keeps the central motifs surrounding the Golden Fleece in mind.
What should a young person in today's world still dream about and what is worth living for?

"JASON AND THE ASTRONAUTS" was created as an annual performance by the 12th and 13th year of the vocational grammar school at the Vocational School Center for Electrical Engineering.
