It never gets boring with Jasper van't Hof. Not even after more than 50 years on stage, during which the Dutchman has been a style-defining figure on more than one occasion. His groove project Pili Pili is unforgettable. After wowing the people of Bonn in 2024 in a duo with festival organizer Peter Materna, van't Hof is now returning to Jazzfest Bonn with a new programme. It is brilliantly played acoustic jazz that he creates together with his trio and the very agile Christof Lauer on saxophone, fresh, exciting and imaginative. Since their joint album Skin Under, the four have grown together to form a highly interactive unit that picks up even more momentum live.

Urban rhythms meet hymnal sounds, free improvisations meet poetic melodies. Schaerer's incomparable vocal style and the originality and skill of his fellow musicians inspire from the very first note. Between harmony and creative friction, the ensemble ignites a thousand sparks. The ensemble is coming to Jazzfest Bonn with its album Anthem For No Man's Land, which will be released in spring 2025.
