Jazz at Green Room: Calvin Lennigs "Umweg"

How should we use words to describe this project when our mother tongue is the sound of music? With this project, Cologne bassist Calvin Lennig dives deep into his own emotional world, lets himself drift there and tries to translate these unique snapshots into instrumental music.
He has brought trusted colleagues on board as communication partners for this process, who celebrate the moment of making music together. The unusual instrumentation with the two flutes and the acoustic guitar creates musical atmospheres that get under your skin. This concert celebrates the release of their debut album "Umweg".
