After the success of her first album "Chansons de Cologne", bandleader Christine Corvisier could not let go of the repertoire that shaped her childhood. She has now enriched these melodies, which feel like home, with influences from her musical career in France, Germany and America and recorded them in March 2025 - with the addition of a guest star: the famous trombonist Marshall Gilkes complements the band's sound on several tracks.

The band's second album will be released by the renowned label "Neuklang", which heard Christine Corvisier live at the concerts in Bauer Studios and decided to work with her. The saxophonist did not leave it at that and decided to record additional arranged orchestral parts for some pieces, as she also plays and sings clarinet, flute and bass clarinet, baritone, alto and soprano saxophone.
In this second album, she does not limit herself to Charles Aznavour and Edith Piaf, which have already become her specialties, but also tackles the repertoire of Gilbert Becaud and Charles Trenet, which she takes in surprising and refreshing musical directions. nRounded off by new captivating compositions of her own, Christine Corvisier creates a well-rounded whole with an unmistakable personal touch.
