In the organizer's words:
The HSD Big Band - the jazz orchestra of the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences - under the direction of Martin Reuthner has been on stage for over 20 years, has won the WDR Jazz Prize and has worked with guest soloists such as Reiner Witzel, Paul Heller, Ludwig Nuss, Dave Horler and Andy Haderer.
You can look forward to an exciting program with music by Thad Jones, Bob Mintzer, Freddie Hubbard and Pat Metheny - full of energy and joy of playing presented by this wonderful ensemble with outstanding soloists from their own ranks.
