AKIO, a Hanoverian artist with Vietnamese roots, is one of the few crooners in Germany to pay tribute to his role model Nat King Cole with a unique show. Above all, he brings the velvety-soft vocal sound that such ballads require. But as soon as it comes to swinging, he performs an equally convincing groovy sound.

"My Nat King Cole Story" is a stylish and varied program with world-famous jazz classics, but also some of Nat King Cole's lesser-known titles. A mix of jazz, blues and swing, surprisingly rearranged and unique. Simply put: an ode to jazz.
