Peter Gall is not only one of the most renowned and sought-after German drummers of his generation, he is also making a name for himself as an outstanding composer and clever bandleader, looking beyond the drums in a sophisticated and very personal way. In 2018, he released his album "ParadoxDreambox", a strong musical statement that received euphoric international reviews and led to successful tours and festival guest appearances. Now Peter Gall presents his second brilliant album LOVE AVATAR. His new songs tell impressive stories, paint dreamlike collages and search for fascinating musical galaxies, emotional eruptions, magic and love in music with great atmospheric density. He has an absolute all-star line-up with him: Wanja Slavin, Reinier Baas, Rainer Böhm and Matthias Pichler belong to the influential crème de la crème of the young, dynamic and innovative European scene. With their strong characters, the perfectly attuned band forms a conspiratorial musical unit, performs in a rousing, highly virtuosic and soulful manner and unfolds a power on stage that is hard to resist - consequently, the Peter Gall Quintet won the prestigious BMW Welt Jazz Award in 2021. A futuristic conglomerate of jazz, energetic fusion, anthemic indie spheres, beautiful melancholy, surprising grooves and hypnotizing beats captivates the audience.
