Jazz and world music for everyone!

Our "Jazz on a Summer's Day" picnic, four open-air concerts on four Saturdays at the music pavilion between the Schauspielhaus and Schloss Jägerhof.

Since 1978, the afternoons in the park have been an invitation to everyone to enjoy culture and diverse musical cultures together.
With Free admission and the request to simply bring your own drinks, a small picnic and blankets or chairs, music enthusiasts come together at the music pavilion.

Two bands play every Saturday, the program on 02.08.

Margaux and her bandits make music. They combine music and theater. Margaux comes from Poland. She is a singer and actress. She makes the programs for the group. She translates Polish poems. She also writes her own texts. The music is relaxed and free. The musicians can try out a lot.

Trumpeter Maik Krahl has long been one of the distinctive voices of young European jazz. Together with his excellent quartet, Krahl unfolds a multi-faceted music full of energy, clarity and emotional range, between fine groove and controlled energy.
This is palpable on stage: Here is a musician who continues to develop with each new formation - and whose concerts are therefore so lively, surprising and captivating.
