JAZZMEILE presents: A Tribute To The Blue Note Era

Jazz classics from the 1950s and 1960s from the legendary Blue Note label are the focus of the Jazz Mile on May 9.

Hamburg saxophonist Doro Offermann has created "A Tribute To The Blue Note Era", a project that celebrates the works of Blue Note Records. Performed for the first time in May 2019 at the Glückstadt Night of Jazz, the ensemble brings the works of Wayne Shorter, Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, John Coltrane and other jazz greats to the stage in a classic sextet line-up.

With an authentic sound and lots of enthusiasm, this jazz mile invites you to experience the atmosphere of this formative musical era at first hand.
