Jazzorama: HARB + Jamsession

HARB is a newly formed Cologne quartet consisting of violin, cello, guitar and drums. This unusual line-up creates a full sound spectrum that transports the listener into flowing, colorful atmospheres.

Cristina Ardelean, Tabea Hörsch, Xaver Bodenstein and Till Reisener embark on a search for new colors and forms, which they allow to resound in their own compositions and arrangements. Inspired by artists such as Lars Danielsson, Kristjan Randalu, Svante Henryson and Lage Lund, HARB is inspired by the colors of Scandinavian jazz and modern jazz.

The diverse possibilities of the electric guitar, surrounded by the multifaceted drums, open up a wide space for the two string players to take on new roles and playing practices. The result is a world full of emotions in which conventional genre boundaries are dissolved
