Kateryna Kravchenko and Leon Hattori have a musical friendship that began in 2020 in the Bundesjazzorchester. Beyond the BuJazzO period, they also found themselves on the same stage as fellows of the Elbphilharmonie Jazz Academy and the Gutenberg Jazz Collective, where they had the opportunity to play with greats of the jazz world such as Joey Baron, Lage Lund and Linda May Han Oh. Today they bring their latest compositions to the stage together, accompanied by two established musicians from the Cologne jazz scene: Matthias Akeo Nowak on double bass and Fabian Arends on drums. Together, the quartet unleashes a colorful spectrum of sounds. Look forward to a concert with a varied program of original compositions and plenty of room for musical encounters.
