Deviating from the planned path, getting lost and finding your way back, engaging with fluctuations, differences and digressions.

Using improbable fixed points, 'Raissa Mehner Deviation' skillfully navigates through a mixture of notated arrangements, graphic scores and naive everyday ideas.

Her compositions, re-compositions and improvisations reflect her admiration for the fragile and the brute, the childishly conceived, the misunderstood, the to-be-fought-out, the discarded and the jointly rescued.
