Jazzwaffles

With the new JAZZWAFFLES format, we at Pro Jazz e.V. are delighted to finally be able to visit Dortmund's Junkyard and count it among our venues. The association regularly presents exciting and thrilling bands from the local area here, while the raw and sometimes industrial-electronic flair of the Junkyard is transformed into a musical-improvised concert highlight for a Sunday afternoon, smelling of fresh waffles and hot coffee. The kick-off is provided by the guys from Omnibus fucking Volume from Dortmund and the surrounding area, who released their new record last year and have played numerous concerts. The sound is somewhere between modern jazz and outer space - the band concept without a bass player in particular creates improvisational free spaces that the quintet knows how to use skillfully.
