The JazzWerk Octet combines the classic octet line-up with the unmistakable sound of the 50s and 60s - inspired by greats such as Miles Davis, Gerry Mulligan and Gil Evans - and at the same time builds a bridge to modern mainstream and Latin jazz. Sophisticated arrangements, soloistic freedom and a transparent ensemble sound characterize the style of the eight musicians:
