Norwegian musician and writer Jenny Hval is known for her exploration of themes such as gender, sexuality and identity, combining experimental pop, electronics and spoken word art. Her album Iris Silver Mist (4AD) will be released in 2025 and features music from her interdisciplinary project I Want to Be a Machine (2024), as well as influences from literature and sound art // Thea Grant's gentle vocal performance creates an atmosphere of intimacy. Her debut solo album Water and Dreams explores multi-faceted emotional landscapes and invites the listener on a journey that encourages reflection and enchants with a haunting soundscape.
