When melancholic poetry and glittering pop meet, Jenny Thiele is not far away. With her new album "Platz", the Cologne musician & former Fortuna Ehrenfeld keyboardist 2025 is consistently going her own way - and is now lighting up the Kulturhaus Schwanen with her trio. German-language dream pop with depth, electronically grounded, finely produced and very close.

Jenny Thiele stands for a sound that moves confidently between avant-garde and catchiness. She writes and produces her songs herself, using analog synthesizers and a great deal of intuition. Her music sounds like urban longing, like clear thoughts on hazy nights - and is danceable without pandering to the mainstream.

Jenny Thiele became known through the duo AnnaOtta and as part of Fortuna Ehrenfeld, among other things, but now she is taking her place as a solo artist with "Platz". The songs on the new album tell of new beginnings, intense encounters and inner movement in German. The result is a feeling as if someone had opened the window to a new pop landscape - warm, atmospheric, multi-layered.

Whether it's the synth-infused club track "Burn On", the fragile anthem "Nehmt mich mit" or the bittersweet hit "Dancer in the blue" - the live set oscillates between intimacy and energy, carried by a trio that knows how to use their instruments both precisely and emotionally.
