Canadian Jerry Leger has often been a welcome guest at the Cobra!

Since the release of his last album Donlands in October 2023, Jerry Leger has been very busy. The record, produced by Mark Howard (Lucinda Williams, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Willie Nelson), was released on the Cowboy Junkies label Latent Recordings and received rave reviews from the British Uncut Magazine and Rolling Stone Europe. In support of Donlands, Leger has toured those parts of the world as well as select Canadian shows, including his debut on stage at Toronto's historic Massey Hall and a headlining show at its new venue, TD Music Hall.

Leger's recent performances have seen him opening for legendary artist Steve Earle. Ron Sexsmith, one of the most respected singer-songwriters, says: "Leger has that spark in him that all great songwriters have. He's the real deal." For Jerry, the search for that elusive creative spark is never over, but there are always new ways to find it. With Donlands, he has created an album that is one of the highlights in his already outstanding body of work.
