JEWLS – EP Release Show w/ Special Guest KUOKO

JEWLS invites you to the release show of their new EP We've Invented Speed - an evening between world-weariness and resistance at Niehler Freiheit in Cologne. "We've Invented Speed" captures the restless pulse of our time - a state in which urgency replaces meaning and acceleration feels like survival.The EP combines art-pop, indie and post-punk in a dense sound.

Special guest: In one of her songs, KUOKO describes herself as a "D.I.Y. Super-Machine". In addition to producing music, she has also taught herself how to illustrate, design merch and edit videos. On her current album "Troubleshooter", she deals with the fact that all this is not only associated with many challenges, but also with the courage to fail. KUOKO takes you on a journey through emotional worlds and genres with her songs. She proves how diverse electronic pop music can be - with influences from house, hyperpop and drum 'n bass, she challenges existing norms and brings a breath of fresh air to the male-dominated music industry. As a self-producing artist, KUOKO won the Female* Producer Prize in 2024.
