Jinwar: a self-sufficient space for women to live freely, founded with determination, courage and hope.
Gotube Jin:
How can we watch Kurdish movies with Kurdish women and discuss patriarchy? This question was always on my mind, so we organized travelling cinema workshops in the Turkish cities of Dersim, Amed and Van. Sometimes we projected on the wall of a house in a village, sometimes in a city center. During these screenings, which were only open to women, we had conversations between women, which is why we called the documentary GotûbêJin.
