JOACHIM FOENIX

Ali Raki Turp aka Joachim Foenix crawled out of the egg like an Urmel on June 6, 1996. He spent the first nine years of his life in Duisburg and moved to Neukirchen - Vluyn for ten years. Intermediate stops in Paderborn and Moers-Kapellen brought him to Regensburg in 2019 to study acting. His interest in music and entertainment was already there as a small child. He took advantage of visits from relatives and friends to put on hour-long performances. Hip dance moves and highly emotional singing were the order of the day. In 2018, he started with his first freestyles and then developed his skillset further during his acting studies. He took part in open mic nights at Regensburg's "Waschbar" and then released his first EP "Kurz und K nackig" in 2022. Foenix developed this project with producer Saalzwasser, with whom he spent days and nights delving into the material. One result of the collaboration was another EP "Kurz und sch(m)erzlos". The Regensburg rap legend Phil Dee became aware of him. On 29.04.2023, he invited Foenix to the "Spring Festival of Rap Music" at Degginger. His first official appearance. Four more appearances followed, including two festivals in Regensburg. This was followed in 2024 by the Campusfest in Regensburg, the "colorful weekend" and the "Gassenfest an der Donau". There he played songs from his upcoming album "Seiten", among others. On this album, he shares memories and emotions from various situations in his life. In his lyrics, Foenix deals with strokes of fate, the question of identity and everything that generally lies between the spectrum of hate and love.

Although she has also been at home on stage with the Hamburg ensemble and most recently with the Reloco dance crew in Regensburg, the newcomer solo artist is now bringing her first own songs into the new year. Honest, personal soul meets hip-hop and jazz. In her latest songs, she deals with some heavy topics, but the music does one thing above all: look forward.
