Under the title JOHN DIVAS TRIBUTE TO THE HEROES - because that's all this is about - John Diva and his band will once again take on the greatest hits of the decade. The born entertainer John Diva will lead the audience through a show of superlatives, flanked by a band that has been washed in all waters and whiskeys - and that makes no compromises musically. With songs by Bon Jovi, Guns N' Roses, Def Leppard, Whitesnake, Van Halen, Mötley Crüe and many others, the great heroes and stadium rock of the 80s will be dusted off and celebrated in a unique way.
It is not for nothing that the band has the reputation of being the best of its kind. In addition to the mega anthems such as "Living on a Prayer", "Paradise City" and "Here I Go Again", the great ballads of the era are not to be missed.
Needless to say, apart from the music, everything else about John Diva rocks so hard that you have to be careful not to get whiplash while partying. The outfits of the five men are no less authentic than a walk on the Sunset Strip on a Saturday night in 1987, and while many rock bands usually don't go beyond the colors black and black, John Diva's stage glitters and sparkles in the most diverse colors of the palette. If you're lucky - or ask nicely - he also brings his cheerleading team with him. Either way: when John Diva takes to the stage with TRIBUTE TO THE HEROES next year, there will be no stopping the band, John himself - and the audience anyway.
After three successful albums, all of which were placed in the German charts (highest position #24), as well as numerous tours and appearances at the most important festivals in Germany and Europe, John Diva are returning to the stage in 2025 with a new edition of their brilliant 80s rock tribute show.
A quick look back: With this show, the breathtaking quintet around front magician John Diva took the Wacken Open Air by storm in front of thousands of frenetic spectators almost exactly 10 years ago and developed into probably the best and hottest tribute band for 80s hard rock on the continent in the following years.
Nowhere else could you experience the heroes of yesteryear more authentically, although John Diva never came across as a copy. He and his four rock musketeers seemed to revitalize the genre and authentically breathe new power and meaning into it with an energetic and crazy show.
