John Strelecky was born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1969 and now lives in Florida. He worked in business for many years until a life-changing event prompted him to tell the story of the "Café at the Edge of the World" at the age of 33. Up to that point, he had no experience as an author. Nor had he attended a single writing seminar at university.
