Joliette / Shakers / Softbloom

Insane rhythms, raw emotion and always good for a surprise: it's no coincidence that JOLIETTE from Mexico City have accompanied similar greats such as TOUCHÉ AMORÉ, CONVERGE and VIVA BELGRADO on their tours through Central America in their 15-year band history. Technical sophistication meets emotional power - sometimes chaotic, sometimes dark, but always uncompromising.
But the TIGRES DEL NORTE have also made a name for themselves far beyond Mexico, playing screamo over hill and dale. Anyone who has seen them live knows that something special is happening here.

It was in Milan in 2023 that JOLIETTE crossed paths with SHAKERS, who happened to be rehearsing in our basement.

Since then, things have been quieter - at least outside the rehearsal room - for the Wiesbaden-based band, who are currently writing a follow-up to their 2020 debut "I Need You To Know" on Konglomerat Kollektiv. The last time the five of them were on stage was late in the evening at last year's F.U.C. Krea festival. So we're all the more pleased that they're taking on the arduous 20-meter journey for us again to blast their eclectic mix of screamo, post-hardcore and post-punk around our ears.

Opening the evening will be newcomers SOFTBLOOM from Bonn, who made a name for themselves in 2024 with their double single "Lately / The Weekenders". After shows between Cologne and Trier, we are delighted to welcome the band to the Rhine-Main area for the first time.
