German Rap 'n' Reggae Riddims

Jon plus Ultra, technically skilled MC with heart & mind and co-founder of the German rap underground collective SBK Basement, is perfectly complemented by the melodic and timeless arrangements & vocals of Voss!

In addition to two albums and numerous gigs (with SBK Basement and as part of the brilliant Jon & Voss Band), the idea of the Jon & Voss Soundsystemwas born at one of the many humid and smoky after-show parties together with DJ Traima. In addition to instrumentals from Voss, classic reggae riddims are also perfectly and innovatively integrated into the show.

Today there's finally live action again at subrosa, where the crew has been a regular visitor for years. Other guests from the SBK environment are also expected - something is coming up at the Friday Night Music Club
