Jonny Karacho, alias Dominik Scherer, lets it rip and makes it possible to "pogo" to children's songs. The qualified social worker and father was like millions of other parents before him. As soon as the child is born, his own records gather dust on the shelf, and from then on the only questions that sound from the speakers are: "Who wants to see hard-working craftsmen?" and "Who stole the coconut?"

Where once Jonny Ramones. Fat Mike's (NOFX) or Tim Armstrong's (Rancid) raspy voices used to croon through the living room, now "educationally valuable" children's musicians warble.

"This can't go on," shouts Jonny Karacho and grabs his guitar. With a mixture of folk, ska, pop and punk, he creates songs that set a new tone in the children's music scene. Wild, funny, cheeky and loving - that's Jonny Karacho, that's punk rock for kids!

So dear parents: Get out your "DOC Martens" and dance around the house with your kids, because: PUNK IS NOT DEAD!
