JØST [Jacobs/Schrön] – Audiovisuelle Jam-Experience

The duo JØST, consisting of Jo Jacobs and Stefan Schrön (aka Bugreport 11), will be presenting a unique audiovisual experience at this year's B-Seite Festival at the Feuerwache Mannheim. In an exciting live performance, electronic music, experimental sounds and abstract visual projections merge into a captivating total work of art.

JØST stands for improvised sessions with an open outcome. The two artists combine self-developed synthesizer presets, sampling and instruments in an unconventional way and expand their spectrum through the creative use of AI. Voices are generated, artworks are reinterpreted and unusual text collages are created in real time.

Jo Jacobs is already known for the interdisciplinary project "Waldrauschen", an established jam series in Ludwigshafen. As a designer, video artist, magician and performer, he playfully integrates everyday objects such as razors and toasters into his musical performances.

Stefan Schrön, known by his stage name Bugreport 11, is a designer, performance artist and founder of the innovative artist collective "Unendlicher Verstand". His artistic experiments operate at the intersection of AI, remix culture and visual perception, deliberately playing with the expectations and perceptions of his audience.
