After liberation, international aid organizations move into houses that were formerly "aryanized" by the Nazi regime. While the residents of the Hildebrandhaus defended themselves against confiscation by the US military government, a unique infrastructure of Jewish life developed in the neighborhood. Who meets whom during this time? What stories come together?

In May 1945, the end of the Second World War set a new course in politics and society that still influences the way we live together today. The program "1945-2025 Zero Hour? How we became what we are." of the Munich Cultural Department aims to commemorate this with an extensive program of events.
